Tin Can Sewing Caddy

I made a sewing caddy which includes a pin cushion that's pretty enough to be set on a shelf, yet comes in handy while I'm measuring and cutting out patterns. Made with used tin cans it's a quick, easy project.

  • After the paint had dried we added outdoor pillows for added comfort.  We chose deep seated cushions for the bottom. 1
  • In the beginning we took an old headboard and began framing and building the base of the swing. 2
  • Once the swing was put together, we added chains and hung it from the porch awning.  I painted it two coats of Annie Sloan's Duck Egg.
