Gardening: Can anyone identify this?

I found this odd growth on a coneflower plant today. I thought another plant was growing up through the plant, but on closer inspection, the green is coming directly out of the center of the flower!

Headboard turned garden bench

This is a little headboard I found at our local Goodwill....I cut in half, and cut a 2x4 for a back leg...cut an apron out for the front to hide the bracing....and painted it! http://www.dejavuedesigns.com/headboard-bedh... #junkrecycling #Bestof2012 #keepingcozy #proudestdiy #SpringDecor #recycle #SummerStyle

    We've done this also. It is a little boxier than this one, but very sturdy. I like the angle ...»
    of this one though. ;}

Our "Toy Garden"!

My neighbor and I call this our "Toy Garden". We spend day after day walking the beach for sea glass and unique shells. After noticing all the beach toys, flip flops, plastic and trash ...»
left littering our beaches, we started bringing extra bags with us and picked up as much as we could find and carry in one trip. Not knowing what to do with all the colorful toys and flip flops, we decided to build a Toy Wall and one thing led to another! We love our place so much and so does everyone who comes over to visit. It's such a happy, colorful place now that we have painted all the chairs!
