Depending on how it was applied....you can mist it with a water filled spray bottle and scrape ...»
with an angled floor scraper (you might get lucky)....this is one of the worst jobs going! We did one last year where they must have used a mortar mix for the stipple....took a week to do 4 rooms....we ended up using a combination of methods including a Porter & cable powered sander with a vac attachment....LUCK!

  • doors have to change anyways..

Walls & Ceilings: Garage door...

My cousin wants to turn her two (8') garage doors into one (17' 6''), however the support beam is right in the middle.. I believe it can be done if a steel header is used and supported by steel beams... she was told they would have to get a permit to change it.. so she changed her mind.. but I would like to know if that is true?

Also does anyone know how to get that texteried ceiling smooth again?

Yeah it would be expensive Nichter, as I had previously mentioned. However, as you said, it ...»
can be done where it won't sag it just needs to be properly engineered and implemented. This is a very doable project, if someone could afford it and justify the cost.

Gregg, that reminds me of a saying I have , "It can take a year to build a house and one hour ...»
    to burn it down."

The goal was to make a small kitchen flow a little better and expand the storage space.

Momentum Construction installed the cabinetry and MODA did the tile work. We think it turned out nice.
