Simple Garden-Inspired Christmas Mantel

I love to decorate with natural elements as much as possible and Christmas is no exception. With an inexpensive Fraser fir wreath, fresh green clippings, and dried hydrangeas, my mantel now has a garden-inspired feeling this Christmas!

Glittery Ornaments for the Christmas Tree

We're doing a Twelve Days of Christmas on our blog (my sister and me) and we did 12 glittery ornaments for the "Twelfth Day". We had a lot of fun making these. My granddaughter helped also.

  • The finished zinc planter with dried moss and red leaf accents for color until the blooms arrive!
  • Here's all you need ~ a container, moss (fresh & dried), amaryllis and paperwhite bulbs and potting soil.
  • Place the amaryllis bulbs in first, then nestle paperwhites around them. Push them firmly into the soil and water.
