  • not too bad if you dont look close
  • some of the rotted wood along the wall where it ran inside the wall
  • used screws for trim and a ton of caulk :(

this is why so many questions for everyone. thank you all very much for the time and advice you gave me . you ALMOST begin to doubt yourself. im glad we followed through with the complaining.

  • before the brick came down.
  • when all was done ,left with paneling .and alot of dust:)

we are getting ready to do a new kitchen remodel and the brick from the old wood stove was still there , needed to

remove it. I received alot of suggestions here. it wasnt as bad as we anticipated, but bad enough and never want to do it again:)
