Painted canvas floorcloths

For those of you who are tired of spot cleaning (or worse- dry cleaning) an oriental rug under the dining table, why not go with a floorcloth? Heavy canvas is painted and sealed with multiple clear coats to produce a tough, easy to clean and customizable floor covering which will least for decades! More info at http://www.canvasworksfloorcloths.com.

Would you go for something like this in your home?

    Thanks, Janet! ...»

In answer to your question, Kelly, the floorcloths are finished with several layers of marine grade exterior clear coat- the stuff they use on boats! It is extremely durable and remains flexible for years and years. As long as you put felt protectors on the bottoms of your chair legs, floorcloths hold up extremely well under dining room tables. My 19 year old ones are still going strong! See a video about applying the clear coat at http://canvasworksfloorcloths.com/paints-and...
