My downstairs bathroom lacked character so this weekend I gave it a little TLC. This entire makeover cost me about $85 and it was worth every penny. Check out all of the details liveprettyonapenny.blogpspot.com
Get a plastic bottle, lots of plastic spoons, hot glue and lots of patience and you have a gorgeous lamp! I made this for our hallway! I love turning it on and off! The economy lamp we used does not emit heat to melt the spoons or bottle!
I made a dry erase calendar board from an old picture frame and burlap. Instead of buying dry erase markers, I just use a Sharpie instead. I love having the calendar in plain view! To see more, go to my blog...
This is one of my favorite projects that I've ever done because it proves a simple fact: Pretty decor doesn't have to be expensive (and in fact, it can be pretty cheap). I made this
chrysanthemum mirror using the cheapest plastic spoons I could find at my local grocery store. I glued them to inexpensive MDF wreath forms and then painted them with craft paint. Minimal cost with big impact. My kind of decorating! :-D
