Can anybody identify this spider? Im familiar with black widows, but this looks different. it has a red broken stripe on its topside and is brown in color. Any help would be appreciated! Just wanna know if it is something that is dangerous or venomous.

Gardening: What is this and does it sting?

This is one of many bees that have been swarming around our backyard.... What are they, do they sting, why are they swarming in one particular area and close to the ground? Do they nest in the dirt or grass? they look and act very intimidating, but havent stung. Im afraid they will! Help!

My new Master Shower Renovation

Had this dark cave of a builder's shower in my master bath, and I had had about enough of that!... needed a flashlight to shave!! =) Now with glass letting in all light, especially from the large window over the tub, an extra 3 square feet of shower space and a new super quiet exhaust/light fixture, I'm in 7th Heaven! My legs look better too!

Giving a standard bathroom cabinet a furniture look.

With home values continuing to head in the wrong direction, I didn't want to spend money on a new vanity. Giving our standard vanity a furniture look seemed like a good compromise. I painted the toe kick black to give the illusion of space underneath. Added legs and designed and cut pieces to go between the legs. I like a french country look, but for a modern look, you could simplify the design. http://plumdoodles.com/2012/04/16/giving-a-s...
