Front Walkway built out of inexpensive cement pavers, red lava rocks, and solar lights

Our home had a simple walkway with cement pavers, which proved to be a hassle when we mowed the lawn. We finished the walkway simply by digging up the grass, adding red lava rocks, ...»
flowers, and solar lights to boost up our curb appeal!

My problem with Lava is with our amount of rain, the lava has a tendency to float away.

  • Patio makeover using concrete pavers and gravel

PATIO MAKEOVER! As a renter sometimes you are limited to what you can do to make your place feel like your own. Sometimes all you need to do is just ask your landlord. That's what we did with our patio makeover. He was fine with it and trusted our judgement. Heck, we added value to the place! We wanted to do it in an affordable way, so we used pavers and gravel. We are so pleased with the results! for more details you can visit my blog www.jennifersmentionables.wordpress.com

blank bathroom wall now looks through columns to beach

We were brought in to this Vero Beach residence to create an ocean view in a nice, but bare bathroom. The arches & columns are painted on a flat wall. The client wanted cochina stone surrounding the tub - so that was painted on, with small plants breaking through the faux cracks. Also there was a wall niche that we added trompe l'oeil pot & window in (the inset pic). We can do projects like this in our studio, on canvas panels, and ship to clients to be put up simply like wallpaper! It's our 29th anniversary so now I'm outta here!! JRH

Gardening: Could You Please Help Me Identify This Shrub?

This has small tear drop type leaves and grows pretty pink flowers that turns brown and fall off. ...»

A few years ago, I began a garden partly due to boredom and the other because I loved looking at the gardens in Savannah, Ga. Anyhow, I just planted all types of flowers and shrubs and didn't document them so I never knew what was growing in my gardens when asked. Now, I take pictures of them and document their names. This is the final one in my garden that doesn't have a name. Could you please help me identify it? Thank you:-D
