to keep squirrels out of my attic, I tossed mothballs all around the perimeter of my attic.

I also installed some wire mesh where they were coming in. Now they cannot enter or if they do, they hate the moth balls.

in houston - strange moth-like bugs flying all around the house, mostly in the kitchen.

no bugs in food in cabinets, no moths in closets. a friend in brenham has them, too, does anybody know what the heck they are? can't even tell where they came from!

Home Maintenance & Repairs: I had entire new heating/AC system put in 2 years ago.

Mold started being in house in vents, etc. Company came back and sealed boots (they had left old ones instead of replacing) A little over a year later, I had problem with termites which ...»
I had treated. Technician said to put black plastic under house because ground wet. I had someone from my church who used to be contractor do job. He said the black box under one end of my house (the end with the termite problem) and all the pipes going in and out of it was letting lots of water go under house. After he put plastic down, the next week there was a puddle on top of the plastic. When he went under pipes, they were so wet that his shirt would get wet. He also said company left pipes on ground. I have had company come out and check. I didn't have problem with previous system. Even the side of my refrigerator is showing rust spots. The company says new system is so tight that is why this system causing problem and old system didn't. They have had a mold person come out and check under house and now want a contractor they know to come and check out. The guy from the AC/Heating Company says there are foundation cracks and water has leaked in. The contractor from my church says he has seen no sign of that when he was under house - all coming from the black box. HELP! Advice needed. Widowed.
