Home Maintenance & Repairs: A/C question: My outside unit runs, but no air is being pushed through the vents in the house.

It has been about a year since my last tune up, and I am wondering if a tuneup might be all I need, in order to avoid a service call and diagnostic fee and any other charges that may come along with all that. Thanks as always for your input!

Gardening: Privet hedge!!

Once I chop down the small privets growing in my back yard, what can I do to get rid of the short stumps, and make sure they don't grow back? Thanks y'all!

Gas fumes/carbon monoxide - are the simple 3M paper masks effective in filtering the harmful particles from my

gas-powered yard tools? I can definitely still SMELL the gas. Thanks for your thoughts!

I believe there are bugs coming from some of my drains, both in the kitchen and bathrooms.

We even had a frog come up through the toilet in the upstairs bathroom last week. Are there any simple, effective ways to prevent this traffic?

Bathroom: My bathtub is not level, and when I run the shower water that collects at the upper rim runs off the side of the tub

and onto the floor. Any obvious DIY fix I'm missing here? I got one of the 'splash guard' triangles, but it's not a 'spill guard' - there's a space where the water can run right through. Thanks for any insight y'all can provide!

When replacing my old toilet with a low-flow, I found the flange was set below the floor level.

When I placed the toilet over it w/the wax ring on, I didn't feel any squishing going on, and wonder if I need to be concerned about the seal. There are no signs of water leakage from ...»
around the bottom of the bowl (not caulked), and the toilet seems to be operating fine. Does this mean it's ok or do I need to worry about sewer gases and other stuff? Thanks in advance for your opinions!
