Gardening: Hydrangeas

I bought a root bound hydrangea(sp?) but there were new leaves at the bottom. The three heads are dying. Should I snip the heads off to give more nutrients to the plant?

Beautiful Potting shed and getaway!

My friend Jane and I share 2 things, a love of gardening and a bubbly 9 year old grandson. She happens to have a wonderful husband who built this beautiful potting shed for her. Keep in mind, they don't have a huge backyard but this potting shed makes the most out of their space plus they have quite a nice garden, trees and plenty of play room for that bubbly grandson!. Cute or what? I do envy her get away!

Outdoor Living: Any ideas on how to transform a large utility shed into a "cute house?

I purchased a large 12'X16' utility shed to fix the inside up as an office. The interior is very cute and welcoming, but the outside is an eyesore in my backyard. We've thought of ...»
building a porch on it and painting the front door a pretty color, but? The porch idea would be the width of the building 12' and 4' out. I thought of columns but that is as far as I have gotten. Help please from you wonderful creative people. I will try and get a picture in a day or two.

We have spent a ton of money building the entire inside with drywall, paint and table and ...»
shelves to do my floral business and sit with good friends and have something cold to drink. Yes, it is air conditioned and I can heat it with a small heater. I'm loving it!

Beautiful Outdoor Area On a $100 Budget!

I created this outdoor patio area for my husband I after we had just got married. Everything you see in the pictures cost around $100.00 using Dollar Tree, Ikea and Big Lots! I was so ...»
happy with the way it came out.

I had a plug in chandelier that I had purchased for my wedding that I knew I wanted to use centered above the table, and that's how my ideas got started. I then hung Lill Curtains ($2.50 from Ikea) Around the entire patio and it really changed the look instantly.

For a complete breakdown and helpful tips to get the same "look" you can visit my blog at:
