Home Maintenance & Repairs: Can you replace two prong outlets with three prong outlets?

I have an older house and all of the outlets are two prong except for the kitchen. Can these be replaced without having the house rewired?

    need to check and make sure that you have a 3 wire system and that the wire at the receptacle ...»
    is not Aluminium....if so the replacement receptacles have to be rated for Aluminium wire

Painting: I am replacing the drywall ceiling on my carport because it has begun to sag and fall..

The house is over forty years old and I don't want to replace it with drywall. What could I use that is easier to work with and will still look good when finished?

    you like or keep it a natural wood (sealed).
