My use of shoe bags

I have made so many uses for these, I like the netted ones, I have them in three places now, one in the garage in my storage area that holds all my cleaning things, sprays, attachments, ...»
ect. The next is in the guest room on the back of the bedroom door. This hanger holds all the needs a vistor may need: shampoo, toothpaste, bandaides, playing cards, hair tyes and so on and much more...... and the third is in my office/nana room that holds pens up high and toys down low.

Terra Cotta Pot Fountain

INSTRUCTIONS: You can see from the picture what kind of pots I used. The large basin on the bottom is plastic. You can also use a very large terra cotta saucer, but it doesn't hold much water and you have to keep refilling. I know because I tried it.

You can use any size pots you want. I like the strawberry pot because the water comes out of the holes.

The pump sits on the bottom of the big basin. You put a large size pot upside down in the big bowl to ...»

cover the pump as you see it in the picture, then stack other pots as you like. Then you just run clear hose (Lowes) from the pump (also Lowes) up to the top saucer. You have to do a little cutting and drilling on the first pot that the pump is under. Cut out a little space on the edge of that pot so the electrical cord can run through and so that the pot can sit flat and also drill a few holes in the upper rim of that pot so water can flow inside to the pump. Since the pots already have holes in the bottom, you will only have to drill through the center of the saucers to run the hose up.

You have to use a masonry bit. They are a little expensive, but well worth it. You should get a bit large enough to drill a hole the same size as the holes in the pots. Then get a hose wide enough, but one that will easily slide through to the top. I got everything I needed at Lowes.

Put colored stones or rounded river stones (Lowes again) in the top and middle saucers for decoration. The stones will control how your water comes out of the top. Good luck. Have fun.

Front porch floor needs help!

Hoping for some suggestions on what to do with this front porch floor. I am thinking of painting it or staining it but I am not sure what color to use. The house is a soft

grey with a black front door and shutters. Any suggestions are appreciated!

they make indoor outdoor carpet looks like grass. I would get some of that and tack it down. ...»
If you have ceiling they say to paint it like sky blue so the birds won't want to land in there. Then go for the furniture and colors you want there. the table you could make different table clothes for it. I would leave the chairs white and use different color pillows for holidays.

How to refurbish tub drain

This isn't terribly exciting, but I need some advice on re-finishing this tub drain. It is funky! For some reason the tub refinishers we hired didn't address it. Thanks!

I would love to cover the mirror tiles that are in my VERY SMALL bathroom.

I rent so don't really want to go to all the trouble of removing them but would love to cover them up. Should I paint? (If so, what kind of paint?) Paper? A friend suggested decoupage? What do you think?

If you used the lattice and then added little s hooks you could hang necklaces, hand towels, ...»
wire up glass bottles and put fresh flowers in them. Have the hardware store cut a sheet of mdf to fit the space and paint it.Then hang the round mirror on it.

Tiling: What do you think of Bondera for Vanity Tile?

Hi Everyone, I've been thinking of using Bondera for a glass tile project above a vanity. I want the tile to frame a large mirror and am thinking of using Bondera versus regular mastic or mortar. But before doing so I wanted to get some opinions and tips since I don't have any experience with this product. Thanks :)
