The base candelabra is white with branches & leaves with antiqued gold on the ends. I separated my shells in order of size. I knew I wanted some white, blues, and bronze or gray colors to
accent my bathroom. Since I don't plan to use the candles I'll add small silk flowers, beads, some funky dangling earrings and a tassel or braided shear fabric as swags. I've painted a few shells and hot glued into place. Anyone have any ideas? I'm just designing as I go........nothing special just a indoor project since it's cold outside. Will post my before and afters. 1/31/13
I found these beautiful drawers (no clean-up or touch up needed) perfect condition.
For some reason, I couldn't walk away. Just one of those pieces that screamed "take me
home" So cheap I couldn't resist. The top two are the same but the bottom drawer is deeper. The photos show them stacked against my bedroom wall. These can be anything from storage to plant container. I really love the shabby chic and can see a plant in the top. Really....... need some ideas for support and decorating. Probably do second one full of magazines. Thanks for looking.
These pictures show the step down from kitchen into my garage. Now converted into large walk in closet space and office area. This is extremely steep step down, plus it's ugly. Need budget ideas and DIY suggestions.
Lots of soiled spots that had to be coarse sanded and still didn't remove completely. After the polyurethane it all blended together pretty well. The wood was age but in excellent
condition other than the spots. My question is: Should I put a round rug underneath my round table. And.... I have jungle/tropical theme-What color should I paint? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking
