Yellow can be tricky... too bright, too dull, too cremy, too lemony... you get the idea, right? However, there are many perfect shades of yellow paint out there and I think I've found the
one that works for me every time I use it. The color is Spiced Mustard from Benjamin Moore. If you would like to find out how I got the super smooth finish or read more about this piece, check out my blog post!
We started with old standard white flat doors. With only about $12 per door and less then 2 hours of time we transformed plain doors into beautiful door. Read article for full instructions and lots of pictures.
OMG!!!!!!! Those are EXACTLY like the tables I want to redo! So CUTE! Did you restain them?
The issue I'm having with mine is the orangey color and yours look darker. I'm going to have to do an inlay or repair and paint the coffee table top, because it has a gougfe I didn't notice till cleaning it..............but GREAT JOB!
I bought this coffee table and 2 end tables at Goodwill. I love the chunkiness of them but not the orange-y color.
Could you please give me some direction on fitting them in to my room, painting or re-staining? What colors would work best...anything. I marvel at the talent of all of you who can put together a room with re-done objects and it looks amazing.......I, on the other hand, have no such talent and clip many of your posts to someday copy. BUT I don't have an eye for putting things together and the only thing I know for sure is what I'm going to do to one lg table I have.
Thank you for any offerings you can give me!
