    this plant was a new plant last year and has never been harvested....it actually has very few leaves on it at all, just that big ugly thing coming up in the middle of it. Thanks for everyone's comments....off to the garden.

Another great way to recycle pallets by turning them into a planter.

I have two of these on my deck that help to splash the area with color for the season. Remember to drill holes into the planter boxes for drainage.

Pallet Potting Bench

Hubby's first big project with reclaimed pallet wood. He surprised me with it one day when I returned home from work!

P.S. The turquoise box is metal and was an ugly brown. It was my first attempt at homemade chalk paint. Finished off with Tudor Brown Briwax.
