Hanging Tissue Balls are a fun and festive way to add a little pizzazz to baby showers, birthday parties or any event or celebration for that matter. Martha Stewart sells a Hanging Tissue
Pom Pom kit that includes everything you need to make your own Hanging Tissue Balls; however it comes with a price tag ranging from $13.00-$20.00 and you still have to make the Tissue Ball yourself, so I want to share a very quick and inexpensive way to make your own Hanging Tissue Balls for less than $3.00.
This week in my decorating style series I'm going to tell you about the characteristics of Hollywood Regency style decorating. Hollywood Regency style originated in the golden age of
Hollywood and is reminiscent of the sleek set design of the Studio era in the 1930′s. This decorating style is all about the glitz and glam of luxurious living and encompasses a range of neoclassical styles developed in the early 19th century and is characterized by sleek lines, color, drama and contrast.
I've included a detailed outline of the characteristics of Hollywood Regency Style Decorating, as well as ideas and inspirations of this luxurious decorating style.
I have been wanting to make a Framed Monogram Letter to go on the shelf just below the door bell box in my foyer. I think that a Framed Monogram Letter would be the perfect piece to not only hide that awful looking box but to add character to the foyer. I wanted to use Burlap because I think it goes with the shabby chic theme not to mention I just love Burlap!!
This is such an easy project, it only took me about 30 minutes to make and since I had quite a bit of
Burlap left over from the Burlap Pennant Banner that I made a few weeks back it was essentially free to make. To see the tutorial visit http://www.myloveofstyle.com/2012/11/09/diy-...
