This is our very first refinishing project. We took a sad little entry hall table and made her beautiful again. Let us know how we did! :) Visit our blog to see what steps we took to bring her back to life!
We "inherited" an old ugly table with our home. It had a chipped, black, dirty metal base with a laminate top. I spruced it up with some paint, Rub-n-buff, and a simple table cloth made from a drop cloth.

I am not the kind of decorator that gravitates towards white. I see lovely white rooms then I remember that I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. I can only envision animal hair covering everything.
However, I don't really gravitate towards color either. I live in a sea of Mason Jar Blue and Neutrals and I am very happy there. That said, I have been wanting to get out of my painted furniture shell. Here is my version of masculine and eclectic. Done in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Napoleonic Blue with Coco accents.
