Painting: Peel & Stick chalkboard

As a part of the basement project we were going to paint a large wall with chalkboard paint. After painting the rest of the basement I was really done painting! I saw these at Ace and ...»
thought they'd be easy. Should've been! They are supposed to be 24x48.

My husband was helping me - saying lots of words I can't put here :) - and after much cutting and trying to get sheets lined up - they were up. They do not need to be prepped which was nice. Better than painting - I guess. At $25/each I was hoping they'd be easier than they were. I called the company, which is local here, with no response. Good idea though.

To cover uneven edges you could add a frame of matching white trim

I'm sure someone will know what these shrubs are

Will be relocating these but so glad I waited. I had no idea they'd be this pretty. I'd like to know what they are and check out their needs before giving a few to my cousin. As usual,

thanks for your help!

Update on basement floor done by Amazing Improvements

We had our basement floor stained by Amazing Improvements. We finally chose colors and painted. We thought we'd post a photo of a section that's mostly finished but shows the flooring off. Feels homey to us and the concrete doesn't feel cold. It's been great with 4 dogs and kids. A good choice for the way we live.

enough sealer is used. Also may be cold in northern climates. Cold ground beneath radiates through the concrete. Great for the south where I live.
