Lighted Headboard for Guest Bedroom

We recently moved into our new home and haven't done anything to it in 7 months. I plan on tackling a room every couple months. My guest bedroom is bare and has nothing in it right now ...»
except for a bed. I went shopping to a consignment store and picked up a few accessories. The next thing I plan on doing is a 'Headboard'. Ihave always designed for others but never personally worked on any projects for my home. I think this is a good time to start.

*My motivation to do this project:

My hands are itching to do a DIY project.

*Project Steps:

1, Materials needed for headboard.

2. fabric style and texture (I think i will go for the black and white fabric)

3. What color paint for the walls?

Advice:

List all Items you need before starting the project.

budget it line by line. I am on a tight budget so this is very important to me.

Dont assume, be sure!

Materials:

Pic frame - $13.00

Copper tea pot - $7.00

Green Vase - $6.00

I love the look of recycled glass countertops. Yamini suggested them when we were remodeling ...»
our kitchen, however, we went with granite instead. Recycled glass is green in more ways than one; we were quoted a base price of ~$75/sq ft.

Wet Bar Design

The challenge was to create a 'simple' but equally 'facinating' wetbar the client could build by himself in a weekend. ...»

Simple by construction and Facinating by appeal

*Options I considered for this project:

Material and Budget were my utmost priority in the project. I had to carefully design the structure in a way the clien could not only design it in 2 days but also keep the green in his project.

I proposed buying used kitchen base cabinets that could be refinished to the choice of stain we wanted and save a ton of money. We wanted spend that additional savings on selecting material etc

*My motivation to do this project:

I love design challenges. ..."Simple' yet 'facinating'... was something I was looking forward to achieving in my next design project.
