Kitchens: What is best way to keep our new Kitchen Aid ceramic cooktop (black) from looking smeared.

I have tried many products but it's never quite perfect.

    You can get it at any big box store that sells appliances. It works great when the stove is really dirty. For grease splatters I use a window cleaner

Gardening: What is the best way to kill English Ivy that is spreading over the azaleas and other plants?

I have been hand pulling them and it's difficult.

    Trim it back and get it out away from the plants you don't want damaged. Spray extra-strong weed killer with a dash of dish washing soap on the new growth. Repeat this process frequently (every couple days) - that helped me get some out of control ivy to a manageable level.
