  it.. homeowner wanted 2 keep them... as he doesnt use tham very much... this is a summer Log cabin for them...

New Red Cedar Mantle!

Just in time for the Holidays!! Question is should i add 2 smaller logs under as outriggers coped in??

  I also feel its a bit on the "high" side. Adding some side supports will bring the "mass" ...»

  down and look a bit more balanced.

  the bummer about it being so high is you can't see the sweet pink color of the grain on the top of the log.
