  • Painted to perfection! A comfy cushion.
  • A $10 end table and a $19 headboard are used to make a bench for the kitchen table
  • We took the end table apart and reassembled to create the seat. Attached the headboard to the back. More details on the blog.
  • All the new wood was de-stressed, and then the whole bench was painted the same color.  You can't tell that there were 3 different woods used :)

Keep Your Pillows Clean! Here's How.

You spend 1/3 of your life with your head on your pillow, but have you ever cleaned it? You probably toss your sheets in the washing machine every week or so, but it's just as important to de-funk your pillows!

A few great tips:

- Toss two pillows in the washing machine at a time. This way, the machine will stay balanced while it spins.

    laundramat owner who had just opened tell me that the company he bought his machines from told him that you add 3x's the amount of liquid fabric softener to the rinse and they dry faster. I've been doing that for 5 years and they dry in 1/3 the time with no clumping or mess. No need to use tennis balls or shoes or whatever.
