Gardening: When is the best time to apply roundup on weeds in a pine island?

Also, what is the best way or product to get rid of poison oak and poison ivey? (I have a lot of it growing on my pathway down to the water on lake lanier)

    poison up more easily. Put it out on the poison ivy and wait a week, then put on long pants, a long sleeve shirt, socks, gloves, and boots and use a weed eater to knock down the ivy. Then put the Round up back out. Be sure to bleach the clothes you wear when you weed eat.
