My garden cupola
A friend brought over some old windows knowing that I would do something fun with them. The outcome? This fun large garden cupola over my septic tank! The roof is plastic ceiling tiles.
Just finished up installation of bamboo floors in the kitchen and dining room.
Kitchen remodel almost done. We loved our experience with Cali Bamboo...great customer service, beautiful antique/distressed bamboo (Antique Java).

I wasn't able to find a cushion-y kitchen mat that I liked, so I made one from a kid's puzzle playmat. :)
I finished painting my kitchen countertops this weekend.
Total project was about $60.00. ($17.00 for the Primer, $20.00 for the Countertop Coating and $20.00 for the Polycrylic). I already owned the paint, but that was about $15.00 worth. I know they sell kits for this kindof thing (made by Gianni or Rustoleum), but I wanted to go with a different paint scheme. I got the original idea from a blog (creative Kristi's) Total process took about 3 days
