  • Here's a closer look at the lighting this client chose. We love it! They are on dimmers and give off light similar to candlelight. Very fun accent lights!
  • This fun pendant is over the sink! Great accent!
  • Here's the sink side of the kitchen 1
  • a close-up view of the Walnut countertop (yes, we made the cute striped cutting board too!) 3
  • Microwave in a base cabinet! The island has a tall Mahogany eating bar section.

  • The refrigerator end is a shallow cabinet. The client is using this area for family posts and scheduling - hiding the mess. The phone charging etc station is also in this cabinet.
This cabinet could also be used for can storage.
  • Each side of the Wolf range is a pull-out. This one is for spices. On the other side is one for trays. 1
  • This is a Kesseohmer Magic Corner unit....a great way to solve blind corner storage dilemmas. This kitchen has one in each corner. 1
  • Here's a close up of the details in this kitchen....the cabinet doors are inset in beaded openings. 1
  • We fabricated the panel above the passage door too! That door goes into the dining room. 1

Design & Décor: What would you do with a large blank wall?

I'm in the process of turning our loft into a lounge/upstairs living room but I'm a little stumped on what to do with the large blank wall. ...»

It's 12' wide by 9' high and my original plan was to paint it navy and turn it into a gallery wall but I'm curious to see what you would do with it if it was in your home! All suggestions are welcome :)

Staircase help!

In need of help! What do I do with this bizarre staircase enclosure? When we moved in three years go, this was what was used as an alternative to spindles and a bannister evidently. It is not weight-bearing, but we need to do something as we had twin boys this past April, and they are already on the move! As I'm sure you can guess, our budget is tiny, really non-existent actually, so anyway we can do this inexpensively would be great. I would rather not board it up as there is a great ...»
deal of light that comes from the window at the top of the stairs. Right now there is a treadmill on this wall, and no other place for it in the house either, so it can't move. Any idea is welcomed.
