DIY Jolly Letters

Tis the season! Today I am going to show you how to make these festive letters for your holiday decor, I couldn't decide which way to go with the trim for them so I did both so I could ...»
choose one. I have a deep love of dingle ball trim that stems from my childhood bedroom, back then my mother was quite the seamstress and covered everything in the room with them. I liked the whole Santa's belt look which is what I had originally thought of going with, that is until I got to the dingle ball aisle of Joann Fabrics and fell in love again.

Our Christmas Mantel was inspired by Jingle Bells and always being able to hear the bells of Christmas!

The Mantel is filled with white deer, Santas, and Jingle Bells. The white stockings are made from thrift store sweaters and the chalkboard, which is actually slate, has "Believe" with a ...»
large letter B and the rest of the word written with chalk.

Do the bells of Christmas ring for you?

Repurposing & Upcycling: This old crib spring gets 2 new lives! From a place to hang your Christmas wreath to a unique memo board.

It's the perfect memo board - just add some vintage clothespins and you're set. When winter rolls around, pop it on the mantel and hang a wreath from it. See more pics here: http://eclecticallyvintage.com/2012/03/fab-...

A traditional Living Room at Christmas!

I may like to try new design looks now and then but I'm a traditional girl at heart. And, I believe that when we honor the style and architecture of a home, it only enhances it's beauty. ...»
Never is this more true than during the holiday season and my approach to our living room was done with a nod to the traditional while still keeping things simple and crisp. Garland done up with creamy white bows are accented by cranberry sprays. Christmas trees and mercury glass candle holders across the mantel bring a touch of sparkle. I hope you will come pay me a visit to see the rest! ~Vanessa

Rustic Country Christmas Mantel

I have really been into the rustic look and the country look this year. I thought it would be fun to decorate the house for Christmas using some of the rustic-y, industrial, and country things I have made.
