  • Create a topiary using coat hangers and ivy. It is such a fun easy project that takes under 30 minutes!
  • Here's the topiary with my milk glass collection! The green really looks pretty against all the white.
  • Step 1: Create round circles from coat hangers. Unbend the end of the coat hanger to put it into the dirt.
  • Step 2: Combine the two circles together to make a sphere form for the topiary.
  • Step 3: Wind the ivy around the coat hanger to train the ivy to create your topiary!

Gardening: What is this and how do I get rid of it?

This is growing on or in my oregano in pot on my deck. It is scary looking - I am guessing it is some sort of fungus. I don't even want to touch it, but I want to save my oregano!!!

Re-purposing old family mailbox

I saw this on Pinterest and Honey helped me! I bet sometimes he thinks Pinterest is awesome and the other times he thinks it might just be the devil! I now use it to store my garden tools ...»
and gloves. Certainly has increased his creative work load around the house! The mailbox belonged to my son's great-great grandparents and his namesake AP Young. It is priceless to us!

Our dining table wall. Used lots and lots of toilet paper rolls for this!

I cut them in rings, flatten them , glued them, painted them and finally hanged them! http://bisozozo.blogspot.com/

New garden bed from pool hole

We removed our pool earlier this year and I saw the perfect opportunity for a new garden bed. We used the old pool enclosure for fencing and added a garden gate that we painted white. It is way more fun maintaining a garden than maintaining a pool that was rarely being used!!
