lumber. Easy, easy, easy! The first set we built I painted in a bright royal blue - kind of like the Pacific ocean! But I knew I needed time in the Caribbean this time around. Our patio is very comfortable and a wonderful place to spend the evening with friends. We light our torches and firepit and sometimes pretend we're contestants on Survivor!

Up from the tumbled paver patio we installed is our deck. This is our dining area during the summer months. The deck is surrounded by Aspens and Lilacs and is very private and quiet. Unfortunately, the deck is failing and will be need to be removed in the next few years. We're planning on extending the paver patio and incorporate a bubbling fountain and even thinking about putting in a sandbox/small play fort for our grandkids in the corner of the patio.
