Flip Flop Wreath

Easy to do and only cost about $7.00.. I did another one with a mirror in the middle and used the handle to hang it...

  • Melaleuca removes smell from laundry

How to Remove the Stinky Smell From HE Washing Machine

How can you remove the stinky smell from washing machines? A tip for removing the stinky smell from washing machines is to simply add 10 – 15 drops of purify or Melaleuca essential oil on wet wash cloth and wash.

That is ALL you want in the washer and you want to use HOT water/Clean cycle if you have one. You can also add 1 cup of vinegar if you want for additional aid in cleaning the washer.

I did this with Melaleuca and it worked great! ...»

You can also use essential oil to remove the sour smell from clothes too!

It is only $.10 per drop so a great way to save money too! No chemicals and works well!

Dresser/Entertainment Center

This is my crazy idea of painting furniture Happy. I must tell you, this piece is Happy. It plays music, movies, games and who knows what when I am not home. My husband kept buying bigger TV's. So I decided to out smart him and bought the biggest dresser I could find an turned it into a entertainment center. I'm ready for that 70 inch he keeps dreaming about. I so hope NOT!

Kitchen Menu Planning & Command Center

I was having trouble keeping the clutter minimized on my counter and finding an organized way to do menu planning. After browsing around a few different ideas I created this menu planning / command center for my kitchen. Now everything is in one neat, organized location.

I got these old china closets from the best store in the world. Where else, the garbage!

I find pieces that are made before partical board and mass produced furniture made  by machines were the only way your furniture was made. I love the "old school" craftsmanship and how everything is solid.  Nowadays, its hard to give a piece a second chance because of the materials used. I'm able to sand down the old wood and prime then give the piece a new updated look that's ready for any beachy cottage, eclectic or even modern home. It all works. Here's a few projects I've ...»
completed! Even old kitchen cabinet doors turned into a candle holder.  Found old wooden cabinet doors, dry brushed them white and found a rustic metal votive glass candle holder from "Hobby Lobby " for 3 bucks, attached to door and ta-da! A great wall piece. They look great on either side of a bed. Also I've used chalkboard paint and painted the center to some of these doors and added a

couple of glass knobs for an excellent message board and key holder for the kitchen. Enjoy and thanks for looking.
