Does anyone know what this plant is called?

I have it in my garden here in South Florida. It is a bulb. I am new to gardening and do not know the name.

Thank you everyone! I do believe that it is a rain lily. Thank you for the help. Much appreciated!

Started a butterfly garden about two weeks ago. Already have Monarch butterflies.

So far I have Milkweed, basil, simple garlic with the little lavender flowers, lantana, cape plumbago, purple daisies and a couple other annuls not sure of their name. The Milkweed is the winner for the butterflies.

Bonnie: they are eating everything, I think they are eating the flowers too. ...»

Douglas: My milkweed is looking ragged. I am so looking forward to all the butterflies though.

  • Apartment living at its best. This offers enhanced doorways and tiny little windows for circulation. A fake chimney for those birds w/discriminating tastes, lol 3
