Company Overview

Using Permaculture principles as a framework, I strive to make things that are necessary, efficient and aesthetically pleasing. My challenge is to design and create products that fit into at least one of the following categories: heirloom quality, so it will be around for many generations. easily composted, so it can return to the soil. upcycled, to make good use of materials that will be here for a long time.

Hi Patricia - Great questions! As I understand it, the beds won't level off. They may sink ...»
some and traditional hugelkulture beds start much higher - as much as 7 ft tall! I anticipate that I can always add compost and mulch if it sinks. As for termites, I'm not sure. We don't have termites in our part of the country - not yet anyway. I haven't heard anyone mention it as a concern, but I'll put it out to some permaculture folks and see if they have thoughts and get back to you on it!

This is very cool! I'm trying to understand how the water stays suspended in the bowl.
