Wondrous Peacock Topiaries

One of my favorite facebook pages for gardening inspiration is Old Moss Woman's Secret Garden. I'm still not sure exactly who Old Moss Woman is. Her page is wonderfully mysterious to me, ...»
all I know is that she collects and shares the most incredible photos of nature and gardening and posts them.

I messaged her to ask for permission to share here which she graciously granted. I hope you enjoy these as much as I did.

Here's her page if you'd like to check it out:

(She wrote that that the words were chosen by her three children, these are things they want to do as a family, I thought that was so sweet.) 5
  • A pallet TV stand! Also by Funky Junk Interiors (Donna). Notice that the top if this pallet is sunken in so she actually made a display case on over the top! http://funkyjunkinteriors.blogspot.com/2010/04/junkin-tv-stand-for-so-you-think-wk-8_18.html
  • A compost bin! This is by Young House Love. It's made out of three pallets and a piece of scrap wood. This is so simple to do, you can even use zip ties! Here's the full story: http://www.younghouselove.com/2011/08/a-pallet-able-compost-post/ 2

How are you keeping cozy?

This week's theme is #KeepingCozy. It's COLD here in NYC. I have an icy 15 minute walk to the train to work and back every day, ...»
and I love coming home to a cozy house. My favorite thing to do when I get home is to cuddle up under warm blankets with my laptop. I prefer not to waste electricity on heat unless I absolutely have to, so spending a little extra on a super warm comforter seems like a worthwhile investment.

How do you keep warm? Share your post and pictures with the #KeepingCozy hashtag.
