This week's hashtag is #MyCurrentProject - anything you're currently working on, be it in your home, garden, or anywhere
else. I'm a bit behind on my new year's resolution to update my living/dining area, so this outing to Cutting Edge Stencils was exactly what I needed! Janna and Greg, the owners of CES, are so talented and passionate about what they do. It was a wonderful experience. Now I'm all ready to get started. Wish me luck, and give me a few weeks, ok? :-)
This show will focus on discovering new ideas for getting the garden you want, while working with what you have. Check out the pictures of Shirleys work below, and you will see why I'm so excited to talk to her! Click on the link below for more details and to RSVP #Itching4Spring
This week's theme is #KeepingCozy. It's COLD here in NYC. I have an icy 15 minute walk to the train to work and back every day,
and I love coming home to a cozy house. My favorite thing to do when I get home is to cuddle up under warm blankets with my laptop. I prefer not to waste electricity on heat unless I absolutely have to, so spending a little extra on a super warm comforter seems like a worthwhile investment.
How do you keep warm? Share your post and pictures with the #KeepingCozy hashtag.
Confession time! This is my living/dining room. As you can see it is stark, white and minimal. I'll admit, I like it that way ~I'm odd like that :) but I've decided it's time to make a change and inject some color. I think New Year's Resolutions should be about challenging ourselves to do something that will ultimately make us happy (funny how we sometimes resist that), so this is mine. What's yours? Please use this hashtag in your post so we can all see it:
Hashtags are a way of organizing your posts, and making it easy for others to find them. Clicking on a hashtag will bring you to a special hashtag search page of all other posts with that hashtag. If a certain hashtag becomes one of the most popular on the site, it will be added to the "hot" hash tags listed to the left of the hashtag search page. Right now, Best of 2012 is 'Hot!' Post your best project of 2012 using the #Bestof2012...»
hashtag in the body of your post and it will show up under the 'what's hot' list on the left side bar.

They let me peek inside their homes to see how they decorated their Thanksgiving tables this year. Two completely different styles - both gorgeous! Watch. Oh, and I sound very high pitched for some reason. I think I was excited to be hanging out with them, lol.
