DIY Herringbone Wood Paneled Wall

To break out of my traditional painted graphic patterns, I decided to do something a little different in my home office. I bought pre-cut pine tongue and groove wood paneling, stained it ...»
in 3 different colors and installed it in a herringbone pattern on my wall. It was SO easy to do and makes a huge impact.

DIY Fabric headboard

I love making headboards. This little cottage bedroom needed some bold color and some height (despite the 7" ceilings!) ...»

My only option for placing the bed was between the windows and I hesitated to block the light, but I think this headboard gives me the height and pattern I was looking for, without compromising the natural light.

I used 1/2" MDF, 2 yards of Sunbrella, some quilt batting and a staple gun. Using a 2x4 for stablility and to bump it out to the level of the window sills worked perfectly.

Hi Danielle. How did you attach the headboard on the wall??? I need to re-do my guest ...»
bedroom and just got inspired by your post. Second question: where did you get the nailheads and how did you apply them? Thank you :)
