Inviting Deck With Screened Porch

This project involved removing an existing deck and building a larger deck that included a large screened porch. The roof design was critical to avoiding blocking any light into the upper ...»
rooms of the house or darkening any of the first floor spaces. A small outdoor kitchen area was incorporated into the deck design. Due to the West-facing orientation, we chose materials that will hold up better and require less maintenance. The height and extension of the structure over the driveway also was a key variable in the project design.<?xml:namespace prefix = o />

I would love to know about the roof line also, as we are considering doing something similar. ...»
If I am not mistaken, I think it would actually have to slope downward in order not to cover the window. I would also like to know what is below the deck. We are planning on having that space as a storage/workshop area. And what about cost? Would love if the builders came by and answered some questions.

Beautiful Transition to Backyard Landscaping

MOSAIC Outdoor Living developed a unique design that was carefully planned to curve and nestle around the yard's existing trees and plants, so as to not disturb the homeowner's hard ...»
landscaping work. Various levels of decking were constructed to add interest and to provide a gentle transition from the main house to the yard below.

Harmonious Outdoor Retreat

The husband wanted a rustic, yet dramatic porch that exuded the feeling of being in the mountains. The post and beam structure was inspired by the home's existing Tudor styling. Rough sawn cedar materials were used throughout the porch to create a warm "cabin-like" feeling. There is also a loft area that can be used as a sleeping porch. We also created storage below the porch for a large boat trailer.

Large Kitchen Remodel

This family wanted a family-friendly, open kitchen that was organized to the max. We built a 60 square foot addition that allowed the room to be opened up and created new space for a mud ...»
room. An entire wall of windows and a French door now look into the yard where the children like to play.
