    rocking chairs!! We have an old 2 story farm house that was my grandparents and the house is white with dark green shutters... There are a few rockers that need new paint... Im thinking of maybe painting them wine or yellow colored...needs a pop of color out there...Any suggestions?

  • First, evaluate your space and identify problem areas.   We needed seating, yet ample floor space for sleepover.  We also need to fill the blank walls and organize.
  • I've started the makevoer process with some DIY art.  We found these cool chairs at Target.  The shelves have been organized.  But look for a new room arrangement in the final reveal.
  • Here is where we're adding the hip and cool.  This gorgeous lamp from Lamps Plus is going to replace the boring, basic light fixture.
  • We're also going to add a fun rug from Lamps Plus to break up the expanse of wall to wall carpeting!
