Great Garden shed. Can see some different size window boxes on the side to dress it up, and of ...»
course lots of plants around it.

The fence--- I put my neighbors disguared gutters ( painted them bright colors) randomly on my fence. Planted flowers and lettece--instant landscape. If there are no holes in the gutters some have to be drilled. Have Fun.

Marvin forgot to add to my post that an electric knife really works well for edging. Picked up ...»
a few at garage sales. Just insert the knife, start it, and follow the sidewalk. Also great for cutting down hastas, grasses, and other garden foliage at the end of the season.

  • Dog gate built using shutters 4

My first share -- I wanted something a little nicer and more permanent than a baby gate to try and keep our three dogs

out of the living room. (One of the dogs is old and has ... problems of the floor-ruining sort.) I'd bought these old shutters at a yard sale a few months back and by attaching two and a half of them together and securing them at the top and bottom with trim, they made a perfect gate. Took less than an hour start to finish.
