A beautiful Painted Lady Butterfly feeding from the fall asters

A little decoupage adds a bit of whimsy to a painted furniture makeover. The process can be tricky but the results are worth it. I had some drama with this makeover! I selected scrapbook paper in a colorful damask print and some black paint.

Iron bed frame made into a bench - I have three so far.

My husband welded this bench for me using one large and 2 matching antique steel wagon wheels and two tractor seats. I painted it and it is now a focal point on our front deck.

I really enjoy making these wall hangers from old pieces of baseboard and door plinth trim pieces!
