Gardening: How do I get grass out of a phlox bed?

This flower bed is extremely dense with phlox. Last year, I pulled much of the grass out by the roots, but it came back with a vengence this year. We've had a ton of rain in Virginia. ...»
Other than digging up ALL of the phlox, does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove the grass? The phlox is so thick that I can't get to the grass roots.

Cleaning & Organization: Hardwood Floor Cleaning With Steam

I've had hardwood floors down for a couple of years now and love it. I clean with a solution of vinegar and water. But after a couple of years I'm feeling the need for a deep clean. I ...»
have a steam cleaner and would love to "tear" into the floors with it but I'm hesitant because I've always heard that water and wood don't mix and the floors might buckle.

Any ideas?

Dragonfly

I have no idea if this pic has been posted here before but I just saw this on Facebook and it's just too adorable! I'm definitely going to add this one to my list.

  • One of my hibiscus

Gardening: I have a Hibiscus question.

I have two beautiful Hibiscus plants in the ground. I live in zone 7b (W. GA) and the tags on the pot said they weren't tolerant for winter. I am really new to this whole gardening love affair but there has to be a better way than me moving them both inside. Any suggestions? ((excuse the metal heap behind the pic- I have a collection of stuff that I've found while digging for my garden! LOL))
