Refurbished Jewelry Armoire

I just finished this shabby chic pink jewelry armoire and thought I'd share. I'm really in to tissue paper decoupage lately. You can go to my blog to get the details.

  • Painted with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Pure White and black latex paint. The chair is a former project I chose to keep.
  • I applied a wood applique to the front drop down leaf. Alphabet drawer pulls seem appropriate. :-)
  • Drawers are painted black on inside with scroll stencil on outside. Pretty black and white rose design paper lines drawers.

I just finished this antique Empire Secretary.

I recently finished this piece and really liked how it turned out. Hope you do too. :-)

A great way to transfer images to furniture.

My blog post on how to transfer an image to furniture went viral months ago on Pinterest. Since everyone was so interested I made a very short video on how it is done. Enjoy and Happy Valentine's Day. http://animoto.com/play/g9WWsO3mFIwQ3G1uwTPr...

How to Paint Your Floors

I have shared several of my home improvement projects with you as I refurbished my kitchen but I forgot to share my tutorial on painting a wood sub-floor or a wooden floor. Hope this helps some of you who are coming up a little short on the re-modeling budget. :-) Go here to see tutorial http://pjhdesignsoneofakind.blogspot.com/20...

  • Garden/Porch Bench

Re-purposed bed to garden/porch bench.

It is not hard to make a bench from an old bed head & foot board. Finding the right one to make it something special is the problem. For instructions on making one go to my blog http://pjhdesignsoneofakind.blogspot.com

Thank you ladies. Sorry it took a while to reply I've been to Canton TX to First Monday Trade ...»
days trying to find some deals for my booth at King's Antiques. The tin ceiling tiles are snap lock. You screw in the first one then the next one slides in to the first on two sides and they lock together. I saved a lot of money by doing the work myself with the help of my handy son-in-law. I just love my new kitchen its just what I always wanted especially the farm sink and ceiling tiles.
