Spring will be here before you know it! And here are a couple things to look forward to seeing!

Aquatic plants abound in natural ponds and streams, make sure you fill your water features with them. You can even buy small container lotus or water lilies and enjoy their blossoms all ...»
spring, summer, fall, and winter (depending on where you live). Check out our website at: www.rmwaterscape.com for more aquatic plant and flower pictures.

Early 20th Century Hutch Revived

In what I would call one of my all time best finds, I got this hutch in a thrift store for $12. I couldn't get it out the door fast enough. I revived it with paint and stain and it really has been a personal favourite.

Painted concrete floors

We have painted the floors in the study, lounge, dining, bedroom and walk in robe! loving it and sooo cheap and easy to maintain. We used Berger Jet Dry aqua tread satin. The concrete was ...»
cleaned, holes were filled and sanded- just like a wall would be. We then rolled 3 coats of the Berger on.

  • We asked a friend to build us a dog house....a few days later he had this idea. He already had these old cabinets.
  • They cut out 2 holes for doors. The original cabinet doors still open, for easy cleaning. Put on a latch and a roof. We already had paint...so it just needs to be painted. TOTAL COST LESS THAN $20.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1
  • Adding the roof......

We needed a large dog house...it was built from a cabinet ...TOTAL COST $20.00 !!!!!

Master Bathroom Reveal

I transformed my builder's grade master bathroom simply by painting the walls and ceiling, refinishing the vanity, spray painting all of the hardware, installing crown molding, building frames for the bathroom mirrors, replacing the light fixtures and sink faucets, and building pallet wood floating shelves for storage. A true transformation for under $200!
