You need someting large on the wall. Then pick a couple of colors out of the art and ...»
accessorize. Pillows candles a rug on the floor, a throw on the chair. This is a awesome view. Do you have drapes so you can sleep in?

Our "Toy Garden"!

My neighbor and I call this our "Toy Garden". We spend day after day walking the beach for sea glass and unique shells. After noticing all the beach toys, flip flops, plastic and trash ...»
left littering our beaches, we started bringing extra bags with us and picked up as much as we could find and carry in one trip. Not knowing what to do with all the colorful toys and flip flops, we decided to build a Toy Wall and one thing led to another! We love our place so much and so does everyone who comes over to visit. It's such a happy, colorful place now that we have painted all the chairs!

  • By cutting the headboard in half and using some scrap plywood for the bench...this headboard got a new life as a garden bench 3

Headboard turned garden bench

This is a little headboard I found at our local Goodwill....I cut in half, and cut a 2x4 for a back leg...cut an apron out for the front to hide the bracing....and painted it! http://www.dejavuedesigns.com/headboard-bedh... #junkrecycling #Bestof2012 #keepingcozy #proudestdiy #SpringDecor #recycle #SummerStyle

  • I took three old chairs that I found in an alley and pieced them together to make a super unique curvy bench. I used outdoor fabric so that it could be used inside or out.

Three found chairs made into a curvy bench!

I found these three chairs in an alley. I have been hunting three chairs for just exactly this project. These were just exactly what the Dr. ordered for putting this project into action. The arms and legs had to have a little adjustment...but I'm super happy...can't wait to find three more! http://www.dejavuedesigns.com/triple-sitter-... #Bestof2012 ...»

Garden Oasis on Porch!

Having suffered droughts for the past several years in Atlanta, I found a better way to have a garden...bring the color and flowers to my front porch! Old furniture, flower pots, ...»
birdhouses and faded garden items were painted with beautiful pots of flower added. Faded became fabulous!

Tools: What is it???

I found this in an old garage and was hoping someone could tell me exactly what it is. Three sharp blades and a foot step on the back. Looks like a spade of some kind.
