This is part of a gallery floor I designed several years back. I wanted to come up with a design that would lead the customers from one area to the next.

Re-growing Celery from Celery

Have you heard of Re-growing Celery from Celery?

I LOVE this idea for my garden! Did you know that you can grow another complete celery ...»

stalk from the bottom piece that you cut off and throw away? Cut off the end that you would normally "throw away" and then place it in a small dish filled with warm water.

Next "pot" the celery stalk (Stalk Side Up) or place in your garden. Just dig a small hole, fill it with water and set the end in the hole, then cover it up with an inch or so of soil. Water thoroughly. That is it! Now the "end" will grow into a full stalk of celery! Rinse and Repeat and you never have to buy celery again! Talk about a way to save money! This photo is taken on day 7 and as you can see it is working!

Hello Laura I am sorry I do not know brand name of stone because the customer/contractor ...»
purchased. I do know that they mixed two brands and had me dry-stack it. I am sure you can find something close online. Make sure they have good color in them as these even had mica fragments in some.

Home Maintenance & Repairs: is it possible to have a tile shower in a mobile home?

I want to re-do our whole master bathroom and our guest bath. I want to rip out the tub in the master bath and add a tiled shower....I have a seperate shower and tub already but I am ...»
wondering if a tile shower would weigh to much to be in a mobile home. Also, our guest bath is tiny and has NO window in it so it seems dark and really small. How hard would it be to add a window?

    Hello Amanda. ...»

You surely can have a tile shower in your mobile home as long as the floors and walls are solid and free of damage. Depending on the makeup of your walls you may need to have them framed in the area for shower with 2x4's and be sure you have someone who knows what they are doing and you should be very happy.

Installing a window is a different story depending on the anatomy of your home. The inside and outside walls will most likely need removed in this specific area to do the appropriate framing. Good Luck! :)) Rhonda

  • This backsplash was built for a customer that handed me a box of sentimental trinkets and asked what I could do with them. 2

This is a backsplash I created from "found" things and tiles and glass

I built this for a customer who hired AMB ~ Anderson-Moore Builders of Winston-Salem, NC to remodel an old barn on their property that was in failing condition. That Barn Rocks Now!
