  • Of course you can always set a potted plant on the seat of a chair. 1
  • Or maybe a fun caddy with vintage garden tools.
  • You can even set up a fun vignette with an old chair. 1
  • If you remove the seat, you can plant "in" a chair.

  • This weathered gray chair is one of my favorites.
  • I used a church pew outside at Christmas.
  • This is my latest chair purchase but I'm not telling what's up my sleeve for this year's gardens!

Take a Seat...Outside!

I love chairs. Shabby, chippy, ornate, big, small, and unusual. I also love to use them outside in my gardens and patios.

  • This is the finished bench. The colors remind me of a gypsy wagon. I toiled over the colors for a year and finally was inspired by the color on a plastic tumbler. I took it to the lumber yard and they matched the color. 23

Flower boots

Found these children's boots at the thrift store for 3 bucks, drilled holes in them, filled the bottoms with peanut packing and dirt and found some impatiens that match. Now they sit in front of the hog house lookin cute!
