Alright, You Can All Laugh, but I Had to. Hate Throwing Away Wood.

When I finally get a place to call my own, I am going to have a pond next to a tree with a goblin door. The over extending the pond as if it was meant to be there. I had left over wood ...»

Create a Mini Snow Village with Cake Plates and Cloches

I love your villages! I make my own villages every year and they always change because I can't ...»
remember what I did the year before. Using a cloche to cover your villages is a great way to create a magical escape; a must during all the holiday chaos. I also use cloches to showcase and protect my favorite collections of Christmas tree ornaments. This way, no one can accidentally knock them off the tree and break them (and your heart).

Repurposing & Upcycling: Old bed frame

I have an old bed frame that's made of metal..rounded curves, dark brown color. It is fairly old as my Mom had it in her house and I know it was there for at least 50 years. I saved it after she passed away but can't use it as a bed frame so it is sitting in my garage. Hubby wants to discard it but I'd like to re-purpose it as something useful. I need suggestions???

DIY Powdered Laundry Detergent

I made this recipe of laundry detergent for $2.49, which lasted a month for my family of 5 - roughly 40 loads of laundry. I have been very happy with how clean out clothes are and it's great for my kids who have skin allergies.
