  • I ran out of space in this tree circle – so MWHP (My Wonderful Hubby Phil) had the idea to move the washtub up – way up on the tree itself! 2
  • Feed grain scoops (again with MWHP's idea of placing them on the tree) with our favorite wind chimes we made from flattened spoons and vintage kitchen tools. (they sound so very pretty!) 2
  • Radio flyer wagon, washtub and an old heater repurposed as a plant stand.

Repurposed Junk Garden

"A garden is like a child: a little wild, hard to contain but makes me smile." - seen on a garden sign ...»

As greatly inspired by many – I've turned my love of junk to the outside of my house with a quite-a-bit of junk-influenced gardening.

Hope you enjoy!

Painting the Claw Foot Tub

Painting a bathtub is easier than you think. I had painted the inside of my old claw foot tub a couple years ago using tub and sink paint. That stuff is smelly! It's held up great, ...»
though. Recently, I painted the outside with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Old White. I also painted a fleur de lis and stripe to give it a bit more character. U used Annie Sloan's Paris Grey paint. You can see the full project on my blog.

Burlap "Bookpage Style" Wreath

I am totally caught up in the magic of Burlap lately, I wanted to make a wreath, but not just any old wreath. I loved the look of the book page wreaths everyone was making, so I decided I ...»
would use that style and incorporate the look of Burlap! It did take a little longer than making the book page wreath though, cutting that Burlap can be tricky and time consuming, but well worth it.
