Any idea what these are?

Our yard is host to a variety of weeds unfortunately. I planted a couple things behind our retaining wall 2 seasons ago. But, I was sure my dear husband killed them. Can anyone tell me ...»
if these two plants are just attractive weeds, a variety of phlox or something else? Either way, I wanted something to spill over the wall. Thanks so much for your help!

The left one is crown vetch. I planted some 4 years ago on my creek bank, and it has pretty ...»
much taken over -- just what I wanted it to do. Beware though, it is VERY invasive.

Gardening: I've never seen a yellow mushroom before. Is it detrimental to my plant or o.k. to leave it there? Thanks!

Yay! My beautiful lily bloomed today!

It is almost as tall as my 42" daughter. I was worried it wouldn't live, let alone bloom. Made my day!

Gardening: Mystery beauty

What is this plant? My husband attended a banquet today and these were used for the decoration. Apparently the sponsors didn't want them back because he came home with 3 of them. I love the color and lushness. Is it Kalanchoe?

Kalanchoe's are hard to kill. lol. So if your's is dying, move it somewhere else, where it ...»
can get some sun and all. Mine bloomed all winter in my green house and I could not even get to it to turn it or not even sure it got water. I no longer have the same property and no longer a green house, so I leave mine outside till a freeze then I bring it up onto the washer in the laundry room. Not heated or insulated in there either.... but if hard freeze here, I cover it and wrap them a bit.

Rose of Sharon Hibiscus Combo Container

Quite excited about my venture into container gardening using trees. I added purple petunias & snapdragons so they won't look so pitiful while the leaves come in on the trees.
