I had an old trolley with pull out shelves (from IKEA) that was gathering dust in the garage, so along with a large piece of MDF from my now adult daughter's SINGLE bed, I created a truly functional potting table - the drawers have all the tools of the trade top drawer has gloves, fork and trowel, kitchen towel and my SUN HAT!!, the second drawer has a cat food box which has some pegs, string, scissors, an old serated vegetable knife and extra twine in, a partly emptied bag of compost, some ground cover, a towel pegged to the outside (so it gets washed when it rains!) and in the bottom drawer, all the items like liquid plant food, tomato food, onion food, slug pellets, bug spray, ant spray, weed killer, 6 month feeding pellets and rooting hormone! I have now created 3 hanging baskets from bits and bobs around the garden and from the house, and from saved plants from last year! I really feel I have achieved SO much in just putting this all together - it works like a dream!
  • Sounds awesome Jude. I would love to see some pictures !!
